  1. The Believer’s Bible Commentary (William MacDonald) sounds great! I’ll have to get it. Personally I also really like the New Bible Commentary (D.A. Carson and others, eds.).

  2. I was just watching this to see if I was missing any great one volume commentaries. Thankfully I had all 4 already. I too have really enjoyed the Believers Bible Commentary more than I expected.

  3. I have found the Wycliffe has generally been my “ go to” commentary for my entire ministry. Also the New Bible Commentary, Believers, Tony Evan’s and John McArthur are really good as well. Bible Knowledge is a good two volume.

  4. I use the believers Bible commentary. I read 1 chapter in it, then read the corresponding chapter in the KJV, and the NKJV, then take notes on that chapter.
