If you’ve ever read a verse or word in the Bible and thought, “What does that actually mean?”—a Bible dictionary might be exactly what you’re missing.
In this video, I compare three different TYPES of Bible dictionaries from the same publisher: a compact version, a full in-depth dictionary, and a children’s version. Whether you’re just starting your Bible study journey or looking to go deeper, this breakdown will help you choose the RIGHT tool for YOU.
I also show how each one explains the same term so you can clearly see the difference in depth, clarity, and usability.
✨ In this video:
• What a Bible dictionary actually does
• Compact vs large vs children’s Bible dictionary
• Real examples side-by-side
• Which one is best for beginners vs deeper study

I have the black one and I really like it. There are a several pics in it but nothing like the kids obviously. However- that kids Bible looks very interesting and I’m 44 no small children in the home. I am dyslexic & a visual learner. Thank you for this video!
This is a really well done comparison. I’ve been trying for literally several years to pick a Bible dictionary, wishing I could find this kind of info. Now…can you review “all” the others? Please?
I love how in-depth you went about the differences! Very great resource for deciding on which Bible dictionary to get 😊
Hi! Im your subscriber and I enjoy your content.
It would be nice to have a video of your Bible study. Like ‘actual Bible study experience’ with all your ‘tombows + other tools’, using Bible dictionary etc.
Possible titles/summaries/ideas:
How to Verse Map + Real Examples from My Verse Mapping Journal
How to Bible Journal + Real Examples from my Favourite Bible
5 things/ideas/insughts that shocked me in Genesis/Exodus/Matthew/Revelation
And so on and so on. You have calming voice and delicate manner of speech, high level of attention to details and neatly organized mind. All this will help viewers to understand Gods Word deeper and experience Bible-studying fellowship.
For starters you can take any juicy chapter (like Daniel 9, Gen 12, Gen 3, Rev 13, Rev 20) or just a thematical piece of chapter (like Beatitudes (Mt 5), Olivet Discourse (Mt 24), Dialogue with Nicodemus (Jn 3) etc).
God bless you and your family abundantly.
I dont use a bible dictionary. I just google words in the kjv i cant understand. I do use concordances and where to find stuff in the bible if its in print
