In this video, Daniel talks about the seven deadly sins. Do you know what they are and what the Bible says about them? Does the Bible actually call these sins the 7 deadly sins?
No, it does not call them the 7 deadly sins, but the Bible does talk about these sins and many more. Some churches try not to talk too much about sin because they are scared that they will push people away from the church. That is wrong, we should never preach some parts of scripture at the cost of another.
For example, we can’t preach grace without preaching repentance as well.
We need to study the entire Bible in a balanced way. If God added sin to the Bible then it is important to Him that we should know about the dangers of sin and deal with it. We should not be naïve and only talk about the “nice” things of scripture, we should read everything in the Bible and let it change our lives!
The Bible is God’s word and you should read the whole book, not just what you like to read.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 says
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
It says ALL scripture, not some of it. So let us study the whole Bible and fully live for God. Don’t be afraid to read about sin, look the truth in the eyes and grow from it. Watch the full video to understand the dangers of sin.

Tbh I’d rather be friends with someone who isn’t that faithful but doesn’t continuously commit one or more for these sins

I used to be atheist but i decided to accept jesus christ as my lord and saviour, but my sloth is killing me 😣
I mostly dont do anything, i just lay on my bed the entire day doing nothing and sometimes i read the bible but thats all, i know jesus christ paid for all our sins but am i really going to heaven if i cant stop sinning or if i cant do things right?
How is god not hypocritical? He creates us in his image and then condemns us for commiting acts that he himself commits. I’m trying really hard to open my heart to him but I will never blindly follow a leader who can’t or simply does’nt lead by example. This is a real question and not a criticism. Somebody please help me understand because this angers me.
