The Theology of the Holy Spirit Explained and Defended

Can we prove the Holy Spirit is a person and not just an “active force” as the Jehovah’s Witnesses claim?
Can we prove that the Holy Spirit is actually God and not just Gabriel the angel as the Muslims claim?
Today we’ll do that and more as we look at a ton of verses that teach us about the nature and work of the Holy Spirit. I think you’ll find that the most often ignored person of the Trinity is not only clearly taught about in the Bible, He is a blessing to know about.

Here’s my study on what the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is.

I have live videos every Monday and Friday at 1pm Pacific Time. Monday is a Bible study and Friday is a Q&A.

Feel free to use my videos in your own gatherings as an aid to studying Scripture.

  1. Thank you for explaining this to the world especially me in south africa. May the Lord keep on using your voice to us . God bless

  2. The Trinity is a purely human invention. It was manufactured by ordinary men who convened councils and crafted a philosophical formula so that the uneducated masses—and the priests and leaders of the Catholic religion—could claim some grasp of the nature and personalities of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. All they ultimately accomplished was to demean God, lessen His majesty, and reduce Him to some version of a bogeyman—an abstract, impersonal force instead of the living, personal God revealed in scripture.

  3. OUCH – you really need to focus on the concept behind the holy spirit being a he….! My advice to you is THE HOLY SPIRIT – there is beauty in English is its capacity to not decline NOUNS with gender…! Jesus spoke aramaic/hebrew – RUACH is spirit and it is FEMININE gender. The disciples as you are aware if you read the text a – werent particularly pro feminine gender etc etc Greek had to decline in the masculine – JESUS spoke it ‘Ruach’ which is feminine. Now ultimately I DONT KNOW as such do not allude to….inter alia THE HOLY SPIRIT….!

  4. Qur’an 2:87 — English translation: “And We certainly gave Moses the Scripture, and We followed him with messengers. And We gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear proofs, and We strengthened him with the Holy Spirit (Rūḥ al-Qudus).”
