  1. Well this was confirmation for me.. I just ordered a new Bible before but cancelled it immediately because it just felt wrong to get another one for no reason.

  2. Just a suggestion. If you had the financial ability to purchase more Bibles, why choose to return them? Use them to bless others. Not every household has a bible. I remember asking my parents for many years if i could please have a bible. One year, I finally received a Bible. It was a small Bible, much smaller than what the other children at church had, as it was all my parents could afford. It was the only gift i got that Birthday, but it was better than anything else i could have received.

To just have one Bible between a family is enough. It can be passed around, each taking a turn to read the word out aloud while the others listen. Study together. Many will choose different times to read it alone.

Let the other Bibles be a blessing to families that crave the word but haven’t had access to a copy in their own hands that they can keep and use.

  3. It just feels wrong to me to write in a Bible. I know people do it for notes and that’s fine, I personally just can’t.

  4. I find having seperate notebooks or sketchbooks helps I write the lesson or scriptures I like date it and feel less guilty for possibly over highlighting in the direct bible you can also do print outs or digital notes to share with others I like carrying a notebook to record or doodle for bible study and church ot helps and is cheaper than buying a new bible all the time if you want to get more expressive or explore more ideas by journaling
